Center for Senior IndependenceAs older adults we face numerous challenges and difficult changes as part of the aging process. All too often, we face repeated losses in our later years. Our loved ones, our own health, our independence. These losses can be overwhelming at times. Fortunately, we are not alone. The Center for Senior Independence is there to offer specialized support and peace of mind when you and your family need it most.

Diagnostic Imaging
Diagnostic ImagingA wide range of diagnostic imaging services are available and are performed by certified technologists in a warm and caring environment. Diagnostic imaging procedures available include Xray, mammography, ultrasound, Open MRI, nuclear medicine, bone density, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography with a new, state of-the-art 16 slice CT scanner.

Emergency DepartmentEmergency Care
Our Emergency rooms are equipped to provide 24-hour-a-day emergency management, including injuries and acute illness. There are heliport pads located at each facility. Physicians are on hand to treat patients of all ages with all of the experience of a larger facility - but with the compassion and convenience found in a small hospital setting.

Inpatient/Outpatient Laboratory
LaboratoryOur labs are staffed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week with medical technologists and technicians trained to operate the finest equipment available in the industry, including the most advanced cardiac marker and blood chemistry units. The lab provides clinical test results necessary for the proper diagnosing and treatment of patients by our physicians.

Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapy
Physical TherapyOur outstanding professional staff works with patients of all ages to reduce pain and restore functioning after an illness or injury in order to promote independence and quality of life. Occupational and speech therapy is also offered and staff can assist patients in acquiring durable medical equipment needed to overcome physical impairments.

Inpatient/Outpatient Surgery
SurgeryThe surgical department provides services to all age groups including pediatrics. Services are in multiple areas including general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology, podiatry, ophthalmology, pulmonology, and pain management, as well as ear, nose and throat procedures.

Medical/Surgical Units
CardiologyOur entire healthcare team is committed to providing the finest quality healthcare to allow you or your loved one to heal in a caring environment. Our doctors, nurses, and all of our support staff are specially trained and are tested on an on-going basis to best treat patients recovering from injury or illness, needing surgery, and even those requiring intensive care. This unit provides care for outpatients, observation, medical and surgical patients from infancy all the way through geriatric.

Multi-Specialty Offices
Medical/Surgical UnitsWe have recruited the brightest and best physicians from a broad range of medical specialties and from all across middle Tennessee. Specialties include but are not limited to Cardiology, Pulmonology, Physical Medicine, Oncology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, and Urology. We wanted to bring the best of medicine to Cannon and DeKalb Counties to ensure our patients receive the care they need without having to travel far from home.
